
Ashleigh Olds, DVM:
“Dr. Olds ” or “Dr. Ashleigh ” is the owner and founder of Aspen Creek Large Animal Clinic. Dr. Olds graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Equine Science and then attended veterinary school at the University of California at Davis, and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with an emphasis on Equine Medicine and Surgery. Following veterinary school, she completed a competitive post-doctoral internship at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Equine Surgery/Internal Medicine. All of these experiences gave Dr. Olds a broad educational background covering many aspects of the equine industry. Following her internship, Dr. Olds has been working in private equine referral practices prior to opening her own clinic. She has extensive experience in lameness, surgery, radiology, ultrasonography, and emergency/critical care in addition to her special interest in equine dentistry. She has recently begun a small warmblood/Oldenburg breeding program with her husband, Brian. If you would like to see any of their horses for sale, please feel free to give them a call.
James O'Bryan , DVM:
James O'Bryan, DVM is a Texas native and a graduate of Texas A&M's school of veterinary medicine. James brings a solid veterinary background with experience working in several private practices in Texas. James also has extensive medical training and worldly experience gained through his military service as a surgical technician in the United States Navy. James is skilled in all aspects of equine medicine and particularly enjoys surgery and lameness in addition to his skills in advanced equine dentistry.
Celeste Cannon, CVT
Celeste is our head technician. She has a B.S. degree in Equine Science from Colorado State University and has also completed a two year certified veterinary technician program at Front Range Community College. Celeste grew up riding and training horses and has always wanted to pursue a career involving them. In her free time, Celeste enjoys riding her mountain bike.
Sarah New, CVT
Sarah is a Bel-Rea graduate, a certified veterinary technician, and a certified ESMT (Equine Sports Massage Therapist). Sarah is a Colorado native and lives in Evergreen with her fiancée and three dogs. She enjoys the Colorado outdoor lifestyle and is thrilled to be working with horses again.
