"Lameness and Prepurchase Examinations"

This talk will help horse owners to understand the basic concepts of equine lameness and why pre-purchase exams are so important. We will also help horse owners to be better prepared to get the most of out any lameness exams or prepurchase exams that they have
performed.

Preventive care: understanding your horse’s vaccine, deworming, and dental needs

Dr. Olds will discuss current vaccine, deworming, and general health recommendations for all horses, including new vaccine guidelines. This talk will also explain our new Equine Wellness Plans in depth and give participants the opportunity to ask any relevant general health and preventive care questions. This discussion will be relevant for all levels of horse owners and perfect for 4-H and Pony Club participants.

Preventive Care Clinic

Date / Time: Saturday October 18, 2008, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Haul-in appointments will receive 10% discount on all equine vaccines, deworming, and Coggins testing. No office visit or exam fees. Complementary dental checks (floating to be scheduled at a later date). We will also perform vaccines (Rabies, distemper/parvo, and/or kennel cough) at a 10% discount for healthy dogs and cats. Aspen Creek Large Animal Clinic's primary focus is on equine clientele, however we also service llamas / alpacas, cattle, goats, sheep, and pigs. Mobile veterinary services, and Equine Dentistry Services are offered to clients in the foothill communities and along Denver's front range. In house services are offered to any client wishing to transport to our facility in Conifer.
